A humble offering from the homestead:
A sweet [not so little] pig sends greetings my way

For an elementary bible class we drew the kids outline and colored them in. My son attempted to draw me.
Not too happy with the triple chin and thick neck.
Veggie lunch meat from here
Is it good? Eh, it’s ok, not very flavorful, next time I will put more spices in.
Son carrying around the kittens
Mashed sweet potatoes. YUM!
NOM!! NOM!!

Seen recently on Netflix:
On a quiet New Zealand ranch, a genetic experiment has gone horribly wrong, transforming a docile flock of sheep into killers hungry for human blood. Those they bite become ravenous were-sheep. As the body count rises, a desperate handful of outnumbered survivors take a last stand against the ovine onslaught. Who will live, and who will be the next victim of the vicious killer sheep?
If you can stomach a preview of this ’serious’ movie click here [warning, it is graphic]
Son and I went from laughing hysterically to screaming from fright just on the preview, needless to say we won’t be renting it.
This cupcake cake was at the W-mart and i had to buy it for the hubby, since his favorite girl is his dog…
the whole famdamily at Wrights Park on 11/16. we were squirrel chasing and talking to dog owners.
Get this; one lady didn’t want to pay the humane society $250 for a used dog, so she bought a pure-bred Bison. And may I say, it was UGLY!

I’ve sadly given up on my precepts Isaiah study, can not attend the group and can’t keep up with the lessons. Just too hard to do ‘everything’ when i home school.
this probably makes me more sad than anything I’ve given up. But i started a ‘perplexing proverbs for women’ study and its easier, but yet a ‘bible’ study not something topical.
Also hit the thrift store the other night and got ‘bad girls of the bible’
and 12 christian beliefs that can drive you crazy
and while I’m not much into reading this sort of stuff, my brain is craving something other than Spanish, right and obtuse angles and the fall of Rome.
Got some stuff on E-bay, if you need some yarn or a Nintendo DS lite, check it out here
Ok, gotta go correct papers and take the puppy for a walk, Ciao!

RE: Vegan Lunchmeat.
A key to good roast meats is the twofold combination of slow cooking and a good peppery dry rub.
Make the recipe as shown but once you’re done steaming it to set the ingredients, roll it in a dry rub mixture made of 3 tbsp black pepper (coarse grind or cracked), 1 tsp seasalt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp dried lemon peel (or lemon pepper).
Then roast it as directed or slow cook it for 2-3 hours at 250 (or better still, if you have a smoker, or a smoking attachment on your grill, cook it under indirect heat for 2-3 hours with some hickory and maple chips).
To simulate glazed ham, leave out the sage and tumeric and do a dry rub of cracked pepper, salt, paprika and brown sugar.
~~Brah, you do realize we’re talking a non-meat product, right?
i can still do that with seitan? sounds good and I will probably try it!
Guess what I got….
The cat licking your hand is funneh!!
~~She gets a little hungry and cranky when we dont feed her on time!
I do realize it is a vegan product. Same principle applies as far as flavoring goes. Most meat is surprisingly bland on its own.
