I’m from South Africa, so no luck to receive something, but i’m going to leave my opinion anyway. I like the first one, love the sticks in there.
~~thanks for stopping by, Cristina. you are a great, imaginative, crafty crocheter! Keep up the good work!
I like them both!
I crochet. Knitting has always intimidated me. How long does it take to make a scarf like that?
~~well, for me it takes days, because i never get to sit down long enough to finish more than a few rows. but in theory if one sat down and knitted it would take couple hours. Are you officially throwing in your name for the contest?
I like the bottom one the best. Why, you ask? Because from a stay-at-home dad point of view it looks purple. Now, don’t get me wrong. I realize that it is probably lavender or lilac or some other color that isn’t in the stay at home dad manual. So I am going with purple. Yep, purple. My wife looks so hot in purple. No, really she does. She works nights while i take care of the three babies, so she usually leaves cold and comes home cold. So i would like to put her name in the mix or contest, if possible. It would look great with her nursing scrubs. Plus, did i mention she looks soooo hot in purple….er, lilac….um….lavend…..ah forget it!
Chris
~~Chris, it is purple with lighter purple in it. For you its just shades of purple, got your name in the drawing! Bravo to you for taking care of your kids!!!
my wife also looks great in purple, and it’s been SOOOOO cold here. She drives 45 miles (one way) to teach a cooking class @ a women’’s shelter once a week..plus other trips when they need her for other things….so deff. put “DM’s wife’s name in the hat too.:-)
I like the bottom one. Buttons wins over sticks every time (don’t get me wrong, the sticks are also very, very cute). Both are beautiful, though.
[...] shy, stressed, faithful and loyal, apprehensive, determined.” I love to knit. Right now I actually have a give away on my blog if you’re interested. I love doing bible studies, reading, cleaning my house [...]
Yes, my dear, I am officially entering. Is it too late?!
Hope you’re well!
~~nope, not too late, maybe holding it open a few more days, we are all well, thanks!!
OOoooo! You are quite talented, and these are so much nicer than those plain, long rectangle scarves.
Saw you on Heart to Heart blog (Doug Monk).
Hi!
KH
~~hey thanks for stopping by, are you throwing your vote in and signing up for the drawing?
probably I’m too late, but if I’m not, the purple one’s gorgeous! I think I’ve seen a pattern for a similar one somewhere…and whether I’m entered or not, I’m now a fan of your craft!
