Juke Box Hero

I love being an embarrassment to my child.

Sometimes it’s the only joy I have.

You parents know what I’m talking about.

Even if we promise on our lives we will not embarrass them, we still do and secretly love it.

Here is an example:

I got the moves! :)

I downloaded some music from I Tunes; Foreigner, Pat Benetar and Phil Collins.

Old School, Baby!!!!!!

Have a great weekend!

Oh yeah, Don’t forget to add your 2 cents in here for me, please

  1. I used to LOVE Head East, REO Speedwagon , Journey and U2…are they “old School too?….Does that make me “old”?
About the only time we get to shake it any more is @ wedding receptions (and an occassional slow dance @ home)…there is something very cool about seeing a Christian couple dancing and enjoying themselves… You guys rock.

~~They are TOTALLY old school, you ARE so old! just like us! :) My son cracks up that we know all the words to the songs…..

  2. You are both definitely going to hell for dancing like that–not for dancing, but for dancing that badly. I’m beginning to think Jim must have taken his new moonshine job literally.

    ~~Dude, we can boogie!!!!

  3. Promise not to tell anybody…

When I was in high school I used to “DJ” parties. Disco was in full swing and, yes, I played disco music.
I loved disco, ‘black’ music, rap, soul, jazz. I would have been at your DJ party!

Someone did leave the cake out in the rain. ~~is this something Im just not getting?

    Kendra thought it was hot.

  4. I LOVE Journey….Steve Perry baby!! Saw them 3 times in concert! Forever yours, faithfully….. :)

    ~~pamelacita, that was Foreigner!

  5. …and you’ll never have that recipe again! …Heffa, I can’t believe you were stumped by the disco “Queen” Donna Summer or early rendition Richard Harris. A love lost, toiling in a L.A. park, grieving……..oh noooo, the pain, the agony. Also voted one of the worst top ten songs ever written. I don’t care I liked it. Go to you tube and relive the magic. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
~~oh, heres a link to the video/song. Stupid song, you two-guys!

  6. As if the dancing wasn’t bad enough…Foreigner?! Come on now! HA!
