Purple is the Color of Spirituality; but Wait, There’s More…

The Week in Review: So I thought not having any female parts left I wouldn’t have any female problems, seems that’s not the case.

Did the obligatory yearly physical this week, will get the mammogram, cholesterol test, gyno. visit. Yeah. how fun. Not!

Had a Tupperware party today, made a few bucks in host credit. 1 person showed up, out of the 40 invites I sent out. I’m sure there was much fun-ner stuff to do on a beautiful Saturday than come sit at my house and spend money.

Son is at gramma’s house for the weekend and hubby and I are going to see Dan in Real Life. I seem to have this weird crush on Steve Carell, weird meaning, he’s not exactly Brad Pitt, but he is handsome in a real, I could come home to and cook for, funny, normal, sort of way.

Purple
Purple is the color of spirituality.

Purple personalities are always striving to be better than they consider themselves to be, both on a spiritual, emotional and a mental plane.
Needing more knowledge, they become avid readers. Trying to become what they think they should be, they search their own lives and the lives of others to find the answers. The study of religions makes them feel as if they are accomplishing something bigger than themselves in life. A good theological discussion is right up their alley.

Wanting to help as many people as they can, they are more than willing to give you the benefit of their education. Trying to achieve perfection, they seem to struggle with themselves more than most because they tend to be so critical of themselves.

Psalm 47

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

    1 Clap your hands, all you nations;
       shout to God with cries of joy.

    2 How awesome is the LORD Most High,
       the great King over all the earth!

    3 He subdued nations under us,
       peoples under our feet.

    4 He chose our inheritance for us,
       the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.
       Selah

    5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
       the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets.

    6 Sing praises to God, sing praises;
       sing praises to our King, sing praises.

    7 For God is the King of all the earth;
       sing to him a psalm of praise.

    8 God reigns over the nations;
       God is seated on his holy throne.

    9 The nobles of the nations assemble
       as the people of the God of Abraham,
       for the kings  of the earth belong to God;
       he is greatly exalted.
